Experience Matters

VP Production - Len Blacklock.

Len learned the ropes of production and industrial design as an industrial engineer with RCA Victor. In 1974, Len was hired by Sklar Peppler one of Canada's largest furniture manufacturers. In 1989 Len became VP Manufacturing in charge of the Hanover plant which employed 450 and produced all types of wood furnishings. Len introduced CNC automation into Sklar with the purchase of a Shoda router in 1990 and subsequently added NC automation with the company's molders, sanders, saws and tenoners.

In 1995, Len joined the speaker industry with Audiosphere Technologies as VP Production and introduced CNC automation in 1996. In 1998, Len started at Omnivation Mfg Corpwhich, at the time, was just getting started in speaker manufacturing. Len runs the show at Omnivation and does so passionately.

Personal Interests When he’s not at the office, you can find Baker at the helm of his sailboat. A sailor since 1974, Robert is passionately team-building on the water. Robert is a active racer in the J105 fleet of yachts which compete across North America and serves as Fleet Captain of the Lake Ontario Fleet #4. Recent Regatta wins in 2004 include the Charleston Race Week (USA) and RCYC's J105 Canadian Championship. http://www.J105.CA
