High Speed Nested Routing

It's a whole new ball game for today's medium sized manufacturer. Global marketplace demands for greater productivity, efficiency and constant added-value have changed the rules. Overseas operators continue to pressure North American managers to be more efficient. At Omnivation we have accepted this challenge of the marketplace and taken advantage of the newest and fastest machining technology available in the world today.

Our new custom Shoda full-sheet CNC router is much more efficient than any other full-sheet machine because it features 3 toolchangers, each of which is servo-spaced. This means that it can rout 3 parts at once out of the sheet because each toolchanger is positioned under software control left or right to the precise spot where the head needs to be to cut the exact part size. We now process the parts in a nested sheet with all 3 heads machining simultaneously.

Another advantage of our Shoda router is the use of 3 high speed custom-designed planer motors each of which can hold either a saw, a V-Groove cutter or a specialty profile cutter. For more information and photos of our new Shoda router click here:
